NRL transfers live: Player movements, done deals and latest rumours
NRL silly season has arrived with the November 1 deadline ushering in plenty of possible exciting developments.
There are just under 50 players who are currently without a deal for the 2025 campaign, while a raft of talent is entering into their final year of their contracts and are free to negotiate with rivals.
Reece Walsh was locked down on the eve of the floodgates opening, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still major players with deals to be signed.
The likes of Ryan Papenhuyzen, James Tedesco and Selwyn Cobbo have all hit the market.
The Sporting News provides the latest player movement updates and rumours ahead of the 2025 campaign.
The former Cronulla prospect was issued with a four-year drug ban but served his time and was handed a second chance by the Dogs in 2024.
“Bronson has quickly solidified himself as a key member of our squad moving forward,” Canterbury’s General Manager of Football Phil Gould said.
Viliami Fifita commits future to the Titans
Gold Coast have signed Viliami Fifita on a four-year with the 16-year-old set to continue his progression through the club’s ranks.
Fifita will remain with the Titans until at least the end of the 2029 campaign.
“Viliami is a great young player who has a bright future in the game and we’re proud he’ll continue his journey with us,” the club’s pathways manager Paul Stephenson said.
“He has a high work ethic and is determined to continue growing as a player which we are eager to support – much like his older brother Jojo who is an integral part of our NRL program currently.”
